She has also served the State Bar of Texas as both Director and Chair of the District 11B Grievance Committee and also served as member of the Family Law Board of Specialization Committee. She has served as an officer of the Calhoun County Bar Association, a director of the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, Calhoun County Aggie Muster Committee and was a member of the Advisory Board of Golden Crescent CASA. In 1993 she was appointed by Governor Ann Richards to represent Calhoun County on the board of directors of the Guadalupe Blanco River Authority and in that capacity served as both a board member and chair. She also serves on the Law Review Committee of the Association of American Port Authorities.
Wanda is married to her law partner, David Roberts, and is a sister to law partner, Sandra Witte. Wanda is an avid reader, and as such, has a strong interest in the public library system. She served on the foundation board of Port Lavaca Library when it raised funds to bring a much needed new library to the citizens of Calhoun County. She also served as both Director and President of the Friends of the Sterling C. Evans Library at Texas A&M University.
Her practice focuses on family law, general civil litigation and representation of the deep-water port, Calhoun Port Authority. She handles the majority of the firm’s appellate work.

Wanda B. Roberts was born in Hallettsville, Texas, on August 30, 1955. She graduated from Calhoun High School in 1973 and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University in 1977. Wanda received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1980.
Upon completion of law school Wanda accepted a position as Briefing Attorney for Chief Justice Paul Nye at the 13th Court of Appeals in Corpus Christi, Texas. She also clerked for Retired District Judge J.P. Hardy, a special appointed judge, presiding over the HL&P, et al vs. South Texas Nuclear Power Plant case. She joined the firm of Rhodes, Garner & Roberts in 1982 and has been practicing with the same firm as it has evolved into Roberts, Roberts, Odefey, Witte, & Wall, LLP.
Wanda is a member of the Texas State Bar Association, the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, The Texas Aggie Bar Association, Calhoun County Bar Association, and the Victoria County Bar Association.
